Operation Care Kits

As a former Army Reservist (MAJOR), I was overjoyed to see the willingness and participation of my co-workers in support of this event not only monetarily but their time and effort as well.

Also, being assigned to a mail room unit at one point in time of my military career we also went to a mail room unit in Korea overseas during AT. I witnessed the appreciation of the troops who received care packets and letters from home when it was time for mail call. The thing that struck me the most were the appreciation and expressions when the troops received and opened mail from those they did not even know, the complete strangers who showed and expressed their appreciation for their service.

Events such as the Operation Care Kits is a small token that we can do to show our appreciation for their service.

Search Party

Please extend my gratitude to your team for doing just a great job at the EMBE Campus Challenge. All 600+ employees learned about our campus in an interesting and fun way. It was great to see the multi-cultural teams working together to solve the clues, act out their skits and have a lot of fun along the way.

We had a great time on Friday playing Search Party with our Cross Country Team from Carlsbad.  Our guides were great and the kids really responded to them. It must have helped build our team spirit as we were winners in the race the following day! Our girls' team won first place in Division 2 and our boys' team won second place.  Thanks for a fun activity.

With two distinct teams (one from Portland and one from Southern California), we needed a fun team building activity where people could quickly get to know each other better. The Search Party with Run Brain Run certainly did that! It was fun, interesting, and competitive. What an experience we had on our “team building” adventure with Run Brain Run. I wanted to do something different for our annual workshop. Search Party was the perfect event. We had a ton of fun during our corporate team building event "Search Party", organized by Run Brain Run. We had the scavenger hunt take place in Hood River, which was perfect, as it was raining in Portland and sunny in Hood River when we arrived. We ended our adventure with pizza and beer at Double Mountain and you can't get any better than that.
